Iron-chromium catalysts are high-temperature shift catalysts used in hydrogen production and ammonia synthesis plants.

Appearance: Dark grey to black pellets or extrudates Active phase: Fe₃O₄ / Cr₂O₃ Operating temp: 350–500°C High mechanical strength Pyrophoric when reduced

Chromium VI may be present. Reduced catalyst pyrophoric (spontaneous ignition). Full PPE. Specialist handling.
